My name is Karra. My husband, Adam and I, have been married for seven years. We have two beatiful children. One awesome little boy, Karson, and one beautiful baby girl, Adyson. We have two of the sweetest dogs. Bernie, is a bassett/german shorthair; Molly is a bassett/springer spaniel. What can I say, we like long dogs.:)Life is so good right now, we make each other laugh everyday; I couldn't ask for anything else.
It just doesn't get any better than this, does it?...
Our relationship started many years ago. I met Adam when I was 11. He was friends with my brother, and that's all I knew. It took me 10 years later to see him as someone other than my brother's friend. We both dated other people and didn't really give "us" a thought. He started to take a little interest, but I guess I still didn't see it. When I finally realized that we should probably be together, I asked him out. Thank God he said yes. We didn't waste too much time. We had already known each other for so long, we knew we were right for each other. He proposed 8 months after our first date and 5 months later, I married the love of my life. September 27,2003 will be one day that will live on in my mind forever. He is kind, loving, thoughtful, and the greatest husband and father. He is my True Love.
My Superstar!!!
Karson - my bug
Yes, my bug. He's always been our little "bug". Somehow down the line, he developed the nickname "bugaloo". I can't say enough about him; he is sensitive, loving, and funny. He keeps me on my toes and even when I think he's going to drive me up the wall, I still love every moment I have with him. I appreciate his uniqueness, and nothing makes me happier than when he has learned something new or has accomplished something and is so very proud of himself. He truly is fabulous!!
My Angel Girl!!!
Adyson - Adyboo
I've been kinda calling her that. She seems to like it. What a pretty baby. And though she looks a lot like Karson, she is definetly all girl, and definetly her own person. I was a little worried in the beginning because she was very colicky, but now, what a personality!! She is beautiful, tender-hearted, and has a smile that can light up a room. I am so happy to have her in my life. She really has made our family complete.
Don't forget the dogs in our lives -Bernie, Lilly, and the one that couldn't stay home, Annie
The first dog we rescued was Bernie (Longdog). What a dog. He is definetly "our" dog. His personality is amazing. With a heart of gold, he fits right in. Then came Annie (Annie Fannie, rescue #2). She is Bernie's soul mate. With so much energy, however, she just couldn't stay home. She has to run, and run she did. She left our family and found one that was equally great with her, but fit her a little better. Then the adoption on Lilly (Lillers), which we ended up giving to my parents. This dog is so dang cute. She is very much Karson's dog. They love each other. He was so sad that we gave her away, and when we visit, he wants to take her back home (everytime), and Lilly LOVES to see him, but she is grandma's dog, now. We then, proceeded to foster a beautiful pup, and when we couldn't find her family, we adopted her, Molly. She is sweet, and super loving, but also going through the puppy thing. She is extremely smart, and learns quick, so I think she is going to be easier with time.
We are a dog family, and will always have a dog or two. Life is not complete without the love of a dog...
